Living Through The Big Days!

MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY NEW YR, and HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!! I feel bad for missing these important dates and the times in between them when I something to actually say! It drives me crazy when it stays in my head and is not even make it on a post… Gives me a hot flash! That’s one thing to mention, I will be turning 50 in several months and have already been getting hot flashes! This was not something that my mom ever went through. Complete empathy for all of you women out there who suffer from it! Prayers for us all!

Just focus on one thing at a time, and breathe is what I keep telling myself!!

Rolling on, Stephanie

  1. It starts and ends with hot flashes, it’s the rest of the torture in-between that you will hate with a passion. Like mood swings, they were the hardest for me. I would be just fine one minute and raging mad the next
And night sweats be prepared to change your pj shirt…

    1. The night sweats have already reared their ugly head and with having FA it is a extra torture!

Thanks so much for taking the time to read my blog and to comment! Sometimes it is hard to write when and that no one really reads.

  2. Hormone therapy?? Have not even gone that far! I have a PCP appointment on Thur and will let her know about my hot flashes. Been having them for a while. Do you take anything for them?

  3. I don’t take anything for hot flashes, as I was blessed with very mild symptoms from such changes! (Mild cramps after the first two years were accomplished, which is when the cycles settled into a rhythm. Every three weeks instead of every four like normal people. No wonder I preferred pregnancy, LoL!)
I do drink a cup of Traditional Medicinals brand of red raspberry leaf tea when I feel depressed or unstable in any way, as it reportedly (and evidently) supports the female representative system. It tastes fine without adding anything to it, too.
